Start with the Fast setup and learn the track. Ok after you have done that for about 2 hours then it's time to tweak your setup. Remember to make your adjustments a little at a time don't go in and change all of your shocks at once by 20% make small adjustments and practice ,practice . practice. The problem I had when I first started the game was the car felt like it was pushing at every track, I soon learned that I was driving in to the turns to hard sometimes you have to go a little slower to go fast. and doesn't hurt to let the car roll a little before getting back in the throttle.
Camber
I never mess with the camber as long as my tire temps are even all the way across the tire.
Gear
I usually like to see that oil light blink one or two time before I let off for the turn normally I only adjust 4th gear
Grill Tape
On big tracks like Talladega I run as much as I can without blowing the motor ( In a Race about 70% / 100% for Qualifying) On short tracks I don't worry much about it
I hope this has helped
See you all at the races Racer9
